Lorri Noe and Blizzard's Guenevere

Blizzard’s Guenevere, a Llewellin Setter owned by Lorrie and Joe Noe of Tiskilwa, IL. placed second in The Heart of Illinois Pointer and Setter Horseback Fireld Trial this past October.

It was Guen’s and handler Lorrie’s first field trial. Guen ran a edge searching forward race and was found on point by the scout, Terry Kaufman, who was on a horse for the first time, too.

Guen at the time was eleven months old and had a covey of quail pinned and held the birds for some time before the judge arrived. This promising, young Llewellin Setter was the only dog of 54 entered in the trial to find, point, and hold her birds long enough to be seen under judgement with all in order at the flush.

She is the first Llewellin Setter in over twenty years to achieve an Open Puppy placement (All Age Standards) in a recognized horsback field trial.
